More Love Mama began as a way to raise funds for the adoption of our middle sons from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I started making handmade blankets out of African wax print fabrics that I brought home from Congo. I loved the idea that each of my blankets would wrap someone else in love. More Love.
I continued sewing through 2 more adoptions. Eventually my shop turned into a location for shoppers to find fabrics from around the world: African Wax Prints, Australian Aboriginal Prints, Indonesian Batiks, and more.
I now have 6 kids, more love than I could have ever imagined, and only 2 or 3 spare minutes a day. But I love to spend that spare time soaking up the beautiful designs of the fabrics I sell and sew. More Love brought me to this place. More Love keeps me creating.
